Foreigner is revisiting one of its best-known albums with a Super Deluxe Edition of Head Games, set for release on October 30, 2026. The band announced the expanded collection as part of its ongoing 50th anniversary celebrations.
The new edition will include four discs featuring a 2026 stereo remix of the original 1979 album, alternate versions, outtakes, and previously unreleased material. It will also feature a live concert recorded in Rochester, New York, in October 1979, along with a Blu-ray containing a Dolby Atmos mix.
One of the biggest additions is Trouble, a previously unreleased song uncovered in the band’s archives. Peter Frampton contributed a new guitar solo to the track for its 2026 release. Trouble will also be issued as a seven-inch single with Zalia on the B-side.
Originally released in 1979, Head Games became an important part of Foreigner’s early catalog and included several songs that helped define the band’s classic rock sound.
